Cered is a small village in North-Hungary, directly on the Hungarian-Slovak border-line. The population was 1215 inhabitant in 1996, when the Symposion founded. Now (in 2015) is narrowly thousand soul, so in the last 20 years the populace is fairly decayed. One and a half year ago I moved to this beautiful, scenic and peaceful place, but I knew this is one of the poorest area in the country. Unemployment, young people wandering, aging. My challenge is stand in the gap and I try to assess what is the matter in our recent culture, I try to talk about these difficulties with the native Cered’s residents, by now with my neighbourhood. This photo series is continual documentation about this process.
